Old Soldiers do say, never volunteer for anything! However, some things are worth getting involved in, and old soldiers are a perfect fit for the job…The Regimental Museum at IWM Duxford puts on a Regimental stand at each of the Duxford air shows with a display of Royal Anglian kit and weapons. Our display is always popular with the public and great fun to be a part of.
The next Air Show at IWM Duxford is being held over 1-2 June 24 and the Curator is short of volunteers to assist for the day. In return for your valuable time, we do offer Free admission to the air show and free parking of course.
The days are quite long, from 0800 to 1800 but it is always rewarding and a great fun day out. You will also see some fantastic flying displays and most likely bump into old comrades. What’s not to like!
