60th Anniversary - 1 September 2024 - IWM Duxford
The Regimental Sunday Service and 60th Anniversary event will take place at Duxford on 1 Sep 24.
Entrance to the IWM Duxford will be free to all members of the Royal Anglian Regimental family.
Full event details are listed below. Gate one opens at 0930hrs and the Muster commences at 1100hrs. All guests to be seated by 1115hrs.
The Royal Anglian Regiment Charity
There is no charge for entry to our Regimental Day, which is entirely funded by our charity. It is estimated to cost £20 per person for this event. For those wishing to contribute to the charity’s work there will be opportunities for you to donate to our regimental charity during the day. Donations can also be made by following the link below
It is politely requested that no other collections take place.
The Royal Anglian Regiment Charity exists to support past and present members of our Regiment and our forebear Regiments, and their dependents, when they find themselves in need, hardship or distress.
Event timings and details
- 0930hrs Gate 1 is open for guests, veterans, serving soldiers and cadets. No dogs please.
- Please go to Gate 1 on the A505 only – Not the Museum Main Access or Staff Entrance.
- 1100hrs Muster at the Regt Memorial for Drumhead Service, please be seated by 1115 hours.
- 1120hrs Battalion Colours and Association Standards march on
- 1130hrs – 1210 Drumhead Service
- 1210hrs Address by the Colonel of the Regiment
- 1230hrs Bars and stalls open
- 1300hrs Cadet coin presentation, Rhys Thurtell presentation, Royal Anglian Riders presentation of pennants. At the Regimental Memorial.
- 1530hrs Flag lowering
- 1600hrs Bars close
- 1700hrs Site closed
