County Information

The Royal Anglian Regiment is the East of England’s premier Infantry Regiment.

We have two Regular battalions and a Reserve battalion based in the East of England.

The 1st Battalion is based in Woolwich, South East London. Whilst the 2nd Battalion is based at Cottesmore, Rutland. The 3rd Battalion has a location in an Army Reserve Centre in close proximity to each of the 10 counties.

All three Battalions retain very strong links to the counties that they represent.

Use the interactive map to find out more information about the Royal Anglian Regiment’s responsibilities in each area.
