Our Associations
The following are qualified to be members of the Association:
- All who have served or are serving in The Regiment (both Regular and Reserve)
- Those who have served in Former Regiments.
- Widows and dependants of past members of The Regiment and of the Former Regiments, are eligible for membership as ‘Honorary Members’.
- The Executive Committee is empowered to invite other suitable persons to become ‘Honorary Members’.

The Royal Anglian Regiment is the East of England’s premier Infantry Regiment.
We have two Regular battalions and a Reserve battalion based in the East of England.
The 1st Battalion is based in Woolwich, South East London. Whilst the 2nd Battalion is based at Cottesmore, Rutland. The 3rd Battalion has a location in an Army Reserve Centre in close proximity to each of the 10 counties.
All three Battalions retain very strong links to the counties that they represent.
