Royal Anglian Riders – Commemorate D-Day 80th Anniversary in Portsmouth

The Royal Anglian Riders Branch continue to clock up their miles on the road. The latest road trip saw our bikers heading south to Pompey to visit some of the port’s historical sites. The focus of the trip was the imminent 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings on 6 Jun 1944.

The Riders have a full programme of events ahead of them after their successful run to Portsmouth. In July they will be riding east to Norfolk to visit Snetterton race circuit to take in some races. Later in the Summer, they are planning a road tour of Wales.

Then, in September they will be flying the Royal Anglian flag at the Hull for Heroes event on Humberside. This is all part of a Mental Health Awareness event.

The Riders Branch are keen to meet other branches and to forge links with all 3 battalions, they will be coming along the the Regimental Day at Duxford on 1 Sep 24 – why not join them on one of their rides – Royal Anglians past and present are very welcome!
