Getting up to speed

New soldiers, who recently joined the 1st Battalion (The Vikings) Royal Anglian Regiment, have been busy over the past few months on the Viking Advanced Skills Expansion Course (VAISEC).

VAISEC seeks to develop skills required of soldiers such as field craft, physical fitness, medical skills and weapon drills. On completion of the course, the soldiers will use the skills learned on VAISEC to deliver Security Force Assistance activities alongside the rest of the 1st Battalion.
