Background:

On the 13th of May, whilst on Operations in Iraq, Private Adam Morris and Private Joseva Lewaicei were killed in action when their vehicle was struck by an IED. An event that shocked the Regiment to it’s core.

Having both been keen sportsmen, the 2nd Battalion (The Poachers) and Bourne RFC created this annual rugby match to remember them.

Also being competed for will be the Savanaca Koroibulileka man of the match award, presented by Oakham RFC in memory of the much loved former ‘Poacher’. Koro tragically passed away after collapsing on the pitch whilst playing for Oakham RFC.
