Managing Director – The Royal Anglian Regimental Veteran’s and Charity Organisation

A unique and exciting opening to create, lead and manage a new, dynamic and vibrant organisation that is equipped to provide a contemporary, joined-up and efficient level of support to the whole Regimental family (consisting of 1,110 serving soldiers and officers and 25,000 veterans and widows), bonded around a common purpose of friendship, support and opportunity.

Working as part of the RHQ team, it is essential that the successful candidate has a deep understanding of the challenges facing both the Army and Veteran community today. Previous experience of working within the Charity sector, with fundraising experience, is desirable, but not essential, however, experience of delivering complex projects is a must have. The ideal candidate might well be former member of the Royal Anglian Regiment or HM Armed Forces, ideally Line Infantry.

The Successful Candidate

This can be a hybrid or fully remote working appointment but it would be expected that the successful candidate would travel to RHQ (Bury St. Edmunds) on a regular basis (particularly in the first 6-12 months) as well as regular trips to the Regimental counties and London. Travel expenses (mileage and hotels) will be paid.

It is expected that this role will be (a pre-agreed) 60-80 days p.a. (c.2 days/week).
