Over the Christmas period members of the 2nd Battalion (The Poachers) were deployed to protect critical national infrastructure (CNI) due to ongoing industrial action. They conducted their tasks to the highest standard, with professionalism and good humour.
They have earned the thanks of the Regiment and the Nation.
The deployment of military personnel to check passports at UK airports ensured passengers were not being delayed at Border control points.
