Event: The Royal Anglian Regiment’s annual sponsored Chapel Service at the Royal Hospital Chelsea (RHC) will be on Sunday 29th September 2024. This is an excellent opportunity to visit the RHC, to meet our In-Pensioners and attend a service in the outstanding Wren Chapel, followed by a light lunch.
Attendance: All members of our Regimental family are warmly invited, and of course this includes the serving and veterans of today’s Regiment and our forebear Regiments and their families. Those wishing to attend are invited to send their name, contact telephone number, email address and the number in their party to the Records & Benevolence Officer at RHQ on joanna.laidlaw118@mod.gov.uk by 30th August 2024.
Location: Royal Hospital Chelsea, Royal Hospital Road, Chelsea, London, SW3 4SR.
Dress: Suit or Blazer with medals.
Events: As follows:
- 1000-1020 hrs Arrive RHC
- 1020 hrs Parade with the In-Pensioners and inspection by the Governor (a simple light-hearted muster parade and march to Church, 10mtrs).
- 1100 hrs Chapel Service (Choral Matins)
- 1200 hrs Lunch in the In-Pensioners Club (provided by RHQ).
- TFO Dispersal at their leisure.
Could you please ensure that you arrive by no later than 1000hrs. Anyone wishing to take part in the parade are to be in position ready by 1020hrs, this will allow for a brief and a possible quick rehearsal.
It is hoped that there will be a good turnout in support of our In-Pensioners.
