The Marathon team from 3 (Essex & Hertfordshire) Company, 3rd Battalion,The Royal Anglian Regiment are into their second day commenced their extraordinary feat of completing three consecutive marathons in three days.
Chelmsford – 7 Nov in PT kit
Colchester – 8 Nov in PT kit
Chelmsford – 9 Nov in patrol order,
Their aim is to finish at the Remembrance Parade in Chelmsford.
Led by Warrant Officer Class Two M D Ransley, the challenge is designed to honour those who served while raising money for both the Royal Anglian Regiment Charity and The Royal British Legion.

Warrant Officer Class Two M D Ransley (Company Sergeant Major 3 Company), who is leading the effort, said: “This challenge is about honouring those who served before us while raising vital funds for today’s serving personnel, veterans, and their families. Completing three marathons in three days is tough, but it’s nothing compared to the sacrifices made by those we remember.”
