This is our first fundraising event, and we hope for more to follow, at its inception it was agreed that the Royal Anglian Riders would carry out some form of fundraising.
For 2024, we have in mind to raise funds for True Heroes Racing and the Royal Anglian Regiment Charity. To help us do this we decided upon an autographed regimental flag. The response we got was astounding each celebrity not only signed the flag but had a photograph as evidence of such.
True Heroes Racing is the UK’s first and only motorcycle race team dedicated to supporting active and inactive wounded, injured and sick UK service personnel and veterans. We decided on a trip to Snetterton that we wished to raise some funds for this fantastic motorcycle and military charity.
The Royal Anglian Regiment Charity supports all members of the Regimental Family, serving personnel, veterans and families. We were keen to raise funds for our own charity and have suggested a memorial bench at the National Arboretum may be a good way to spend the funds.
