Vikings Gold Medal on Cambrian Patrol 26

Congratulations to the team from 1st Battalion, Royal Anglian Regiment, on achieving a Gold Medal at Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2026, the British Army’s premier patrols exercise.

Over 48 hours, they completed a 40-mile march while carrying full combat loads, weapons and ammunition, and performed a range of tactical assessments. Several weeks of arduous training, including a two-week battle camp, prepared the Vikings for this test.

The gold medals are a testament to their effort, teamwork, endurance, and tenacity – well done to all involved.
