The Regimental Council has recently selected Ian Robinson, veteran, former 1st Battalion member and currently serving in the 3rd Battalion as a part-time employee working at RHQ looking to develop, broaden and deepen links with our Royal Anglian veteran family.
This role is key to fulfilling the Regimental Council’s ambition to extend our reach to more of our people and to attract younger members as well as identify better those who are vulnerable. This work complements existing RHQ work, especially with our Area Secretaries who deal with veterans in need and distress on a daily basis. Another of Ian’s responsibilities is to improve fundraising for our charity which supports our serving soldiers (reserve and regular) and our veterans.
We welcome Ian to the team, though acknowledge he is already well known in The Regiment and has dedicated much of his time doing so much good.
