Big Sleep Out – Royal Anglian Veterans

A group of Royal Anglian veterans and serving soldiers have decided to participate in this year’s Great Tommy Sleep Out. The sleep-out aims to raise vital funds and awareness for over 6000 veterans who are experiencing homelessness in the UK right now.

With every penny raised, Royal British Legion Industries can provide safe, warm housing and ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to gain employment, regardless of health conditions or disability. The RBLI provides emergency accommodation for veterans at its supported accommodation, Mountbatten Pavilion, in Kent. Mountbatten Pavilion provides a vital lifeline for homeless veterans allowing them the time, space and support to regain their independence.

The Royal Anglian soldiers & veterans will be spending the night of Saturday 23 March (1800-0600) sleeping outside Moyses Hall in Bury St Edmunds and would appreciate any support, moral or financial, to help raise much-needed funds for this incredible cause.
