Description: The Royal Anglian Regiment exercised its right to the Freedom of the City with a parade in Grimsby on Thursday, 22 November, 2007.
 The soldiers were given a heroes’ welcome after returning from a six-month operational tour in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, which involved intense fighting. The Freedom of the City honour grants the regiment the privilege of marching through the city “with drums beating, colours flying, and bayonets fixed.
