2nd Battalion

Members of various Basrah Police forces join in on Op Sinbad. Operation Sinbad Operation Sinbad is an Iraqi-led initiative to bring about improvements to the quality of life in the area of Basrah city. Operation Sinbad includes neighbourhood improvement projects, infrastructure and agricultural development and overall improvements to the environment throughout Basrah city, plus mentoring of the Iraqi Security Forces. Although and Iraqi led operation, MNF forces have been deployed in support to provide expertise and practical help on the ground.

Description: 2nd Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment Op Telic 2006, Iraq. OPERATION SINBAD PULSE 7: 4 – 5 NOV 2006.

Members of 17 Battery (Bty) 26 Royal Artillery (RA) who have been attached to 20 Armoured Brigade for the duration of there tour, conduct Op Sinbad.
