David Bridges was the Master of the Worshipful Company of Poulters from 2009 to 2010 and was a generous friend of the Regiment.

Our Regiment’s relationship with the Poulters and the kind support they give to us depends very much on the officers in the Company and in particular on the Master. It was clear particularly during his visits how much he cared about the Regiment, including the 1st Battalion’s Op HERRICKs 6 and 11, and the 2nd Battalion’s Op TELIC 12, all of which were during his tenure as Renter Warden, Upper Warden and Master of the Poulters.

On 18th March 2009, David kindly presented the Poulters’ Prize to WO2 Steve Nobby Clark for his contribution to the 1st Battalion’s Rear Party in Pirbright during Op HERRICK 6. His kind interest in the Regiment further developed the relationship we share with the Poulters.

On completion of his term as Master, David maintained his interest in the Regiment as a Past Master. He was a kind and generous friend of the Regiment.
