Veterans Help Awareness Day – 26 Mar 26 – West Raynham

Veterans Help Awareness Day

Thursday 26th March sees a very important day at Veterans Central.

This is the second year of running the Veterans Help Awareness Day.

We had 22 organisations attend last year, and we have 34 planning to attend this year.

The period up to 1100 is for networking between the charities but from 1100 onwards we are inviting veterans, serving personnel, and interested individuals to join us to mingle with the organisations, maybe attend some of the talks, or simply come to socialise and enjoy free coffee and cake!

Hope to have you join us at Veterans Central West Raynham SHQ on the 26th!

The plan is (start times for each activity):

  • 0800 SHQ open for organisations to arrive and set up
  • 0830 Café open for that essential arrival coffee. Throughout the day hot drinks and cakes available in the café at no cost (although donations always welcome). We will also have toasted sandwiches available (again no cost) between 1130 and 1300.
  • 0900 Meet in Café for an introduction on Veterans Central and a tour of SHQ for anyone that would like one.
  • 0930 Organisation Networking.
  • 1100 Veterans on site to circulate and chat.
  • 1230 Short discussions in presentation room. A list of speakers will be displayed in the foyer.
  • 1430 Live Radio broadcast with Future Radio, who will also be circulating during the day with portable mic.
  • 1530 Notional end of event

Future Radio will be with us, with interviews during the day, and a live broadcast starting at 1430.
