Shortly following on from Exercise KHANJAR OMAN, the Royal Anglian Regiment Potential Junior Non-Commissioned Officers’ Cadre being run by A ‘Lincolnshire’ Company, hit the ground running.
The first week saw potential NCOs conduct start standard fitness assessments, briefings and lessons that see them set up for success as they deploy to the Jebel mountains to conduct the tactical phase.
The terrain is aggressive, testing every soldier. The opportunity to train in such an environment are seldom and the experiences that are being provided to these soldiers will undoubtedly be with them for a lifetime.
