Well done to Colour Sergeant Teague Young
CSgt Teague Young, a serving soldier with the 2nd Battalion, Royal Anglian Regiment – The Poachers – was recently honoured as a finalist at the prestigious British Ex-Forces in Business Awards, held at Grosvenor House on Park Lane, London.
Teague’s nomination celebrated his remarkable transition from soldier to entrepreneur. In June 2024, while still serving full-time, he launched The Combat Clipper Company — a grooming brand tailored to the needs of military personnel, inspired by the introduction of the British Army’s beard policy.
Rooted in the core values of discipline, leadership, and integrity, the company has already earned national recognition for its innovation and charitable ethos.

Although he didn’t take home the top prize, Teague stood out among a field of exceptional finalists and represented the Regiment with pride and professionalism. His journey is a powerful testament to how military values can drive success far beyond the front line.
We’re immensely proud of his achievement and excited to see where his ambition and drive will take him next.
