Recently 1, 3 and 5 Companys, Royal Anglian Regiment (Army Reserve), came together to train under direction of Warrant Officer Class Two Howe and Warrant Officer Class Two Butcher. They covered a range of objectives up to Platoon level skills.
This was an opportunity to consolidate skills from Exercise RHINO HEART 25 and introduce or revise skills required for the Battalions Overseas Training Exercise, taking place in Denmark in October.
The training took place at Rock Barracks in Woodbridge, which offers unorthodox training opportunities on the now abandoned airfield. Raids were the focus alongside key CIS capabilities with additional Individual Training Requirements being completed.
Soldiers across the 3rd Battalion will continue to train together preparing for the next large scale Battalion training event in May.
