Training in Bosnia and Herzegovina
D (Cambridgeshire) Company, 1st Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment has been deployed in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) for the past month delivering training to the Armed Forces of BiH.
Officers and soldiers of D Company were welcomed by the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a flag-raising ceremony in Sarajevo. The Company then demonstrated their skill and professionalism during a visit from Lord Coaker, Minister of State, and His Excellency Mr Julian Reilly, Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina. D Company’s efforts have directly contributed to developing the relationship between the UK Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of BiH.
D (Cambridgeshire) Company, 1st Battalion, Royal Anglian Regiment have continued their training in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) alongside soldiers of 4th, 5th and 6th Infantry Brigades of the Armed Forces of BiH.
They have delivered an urban skills package, taught and demonstrated contact drills and provided an introduction on how to construct bush hides.
