Background: On leaving school Adam attended attended college to study Carpentry and Electronics before deciding to join the Army. He loved music, playing the guitar and skateboarding.

Army Career: Adam enlisted in the Army at Cambridge in 2007. Shortly after completing his training on the 10 August that year, he joined the 1st Battalion in Afghanistan as part of Operation HERRICK 6.

After this tour, Adam, a keen boxer, made the finals in The Battalion Boxing Competition. He passed his driving test and was fast-tracked to Lance Corporal.

Date of death: 07/12/2009 

Circumstances: Adam was killed in action, on duty with the Regiment in Afghanistan. 

Resting place: St Nicholas Cemetery, Suffolk
