Regimental Cricket at Oakham School July 2025

Description: On Sunday 27 July 2025, the Royal Anglian Regiment, hosted a Regimental Cricket day at Oakham School, with two T20 matches, played and family friendly activities setup for spectators.

The first match saw a Royal Anglian Present team beating a Royal Anglian past team by 110 runs with Private Connor Preston of the 1st Battalion scoring on 51 retired and Captain Harry Di-Lieto of the 2nd Battalion hitting 44.

Following this, a combination of these two teams faced a strong team from Oakham CC. An impressive total of 190-3 was set by the Royal Anglian side, with Private John Whiting of the 2nd Battalion scoring on 96. Some quality batting from the Oakham side saw them knock of this total with 1 over and 6 wickets to spare
