Loughborough

Description: Charnwood Borough Council, which includes Loughborough, granted the Freedom of Entry to the Royal Anglian Regiment in July 2007. This is the highest honour the council can bestow and involved a ceremony where the regiment marched through the town “with bayonets fixed, drums beating, bands playing and colours flying.
