Colonel of the Regiment Commendations 2025

Description: Glen Keeble joined the Royal Anglian Regiment in September 1976 and has served with the Regiment for 48 years, which is a worthy achievement. Following initial training he joined 3 Royal Anglian, The Pompadours, as well as serving with The Vikings, The Bermuda Regiment, 6 and 7 Royal Anglian, The East of England Regiment and finally in back to the Steelbacks as a reservist in 1999 where he served until, he left in October 2024. We are here to recognise Glen’s long and selfless dedication to the Regiment outside everyday work life as a reservist. He, and his charming wife Sandra, have both been essential supporting the Regimental Gathering since 2001 until this year at Duxford. Glen practical expertise and leadership was well suited to venue site management ensuring our Gatherings went ahead safely and without hitch. He has a talent for coordinating and sequencing a variety of outside and internal concerns ensuring set up goes to plan. His dedication and support to the Regiment is hugely appreciated and his experience, energy and leadership will be greatly missed.
The Colonel of the Regiment’s Commendation is given to serving and former members and friends of the Regiment that uphold our ethos and have demonstrated selfless commitment and dedication in the service of the Regimental Family.
