He was an exemplary soldier and a truly inspiring leader, his soldiers trusted him always, often in difficult circumstances. Tony is passionate about our great Regiment and its people, he has and continues to make it a priority in much of his life. He is a significant part of the foundation of this great Regiment, and the person many of us, in either senior or junior positions, go to for advice. His mentorship and guidance are always measured, well considered and comes from a deep knowledge and experience of the Army, understanding people and what is best for us all. For his service we are truly grateful.
