3rd Battalion

Description: The 3rd Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment, held their medal parade on Sunday, 23 May 2010, in Bury St Edmunds.
Approximately 60 Army Reservist soldiers from the battalion received their Operation HERRICK campaign medals for their six-month tour in Afghanistan. The soldiers paraded through the town’s streets, witnessed by hundreds of proud family members and friends, and attended a service of thanksgiving at St Mary’s Church.
