Operation Fingal was a 2002 British military deployment to Afghanistan, International Security Assistance Force (ISAF). Beginning in late December 2001, the operation focused on stabilizing Kabul, securing the airport, and training the Afghan National Guard to restore order after the Taliban’s fall.
