Three new officers commission into the Regiment

Today the Regiment welcomed three new Officers to the family after the Sovereign’s Parade at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. They were personally welcomed by The Colonel of the Regiment, Major General Wooddisse, CBE, MC after the parade, with a select number of their family.

  • 2nd Lieutenant Rob Steel
  • 2nd Lieutenant Luke Moore

The Sovereign’s Parade marks the end of 44 weeks of training for the Officer Cadets who now commission and join their Regiments in the British Army. The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst also trains a number of overseas students and on this parade 33 individuals from around the world will now return to their own countries and take up leadership roles in their respective Armed Forces.

The Sovereign’s Representative for this parade was, General Sir Patrick Sanders KCB CBE DSO ADC Gen – Commander of Strategic Command.
