The Band of the Royal Anglian Regiment welcomed their new Director of Music, Major Jason Griffiths. Major Griffiths brings a wealth of experience to the band as he is joining us upon retiring from the Regular Army after some 38 years’ service to Army music. Initially enlisting into The Queen’s Own Hussars, Major Griffiths, on completion of the Students Bandmaster’s course at Kneller Hall, has held many positions within the Royal Corps of Army Music including Bandmaster of the Parachute Regiment Band, Director of Music The Blues and Royals Band and Director of Music of The Band of The Rifles.
The band is looking forward to working with him enormously with the broad and highly professional experience he brings to the band as the new conductor and leader.
