Remembrance in the Royal Anglian Community - WO1 Steve Armon

Steve Armon lives near Cambridge; he is a former Regimental Sergeant Major who served in the Royal Anglian Regiment for over 23 years. In the final film in our Remembrance series, Steve recounts his memories of the 1st Battalion’s tour of Afghanistan in 2007.

The focus of the film is Steve’s very vivid memory of the events surrounding the death of Lance Corporal Alex Hawkins while on operations with the Regiment in Afghanistan. In this very intimate film Steve remembers Alex and reflects on what Remembrance means to him.
