For the first time in two years the Regiment was able to celebrate its Regimental Day at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford. As per tradition, the Regimental Day is always the first Sunday of the month of September, after the Regimental formation day of the 1st September.
The day was a fantastic success and it was great to see all parts of the Regimental family enjoy the glorious weather, the beer tent, the Regimental Museum, the Royal Anglian Band and of course catching up with old comrades. As always, the event was well attended and continues to grow in popularity.
The Regimental Day is also a time for many to reflect on their service and remember comrades who are no longer with us. The Drumhead service took place at the Regimental Memorial where the Colonel of the Regiment delivered an update to the Regimental family on what the Regiment has done in the last twelve months.
A massive thank you to all those that made the day happen, our veterans, cadets and serving soldiers all of which make up our Regimental family.
