Our Regimental Band has been busy in December

The band has had a busy December. As well as attending training, on Friday 9th December, four members travelled to Wolverhampton to provide support to the Mercian Regiment Band with their carol concert at St Michael’s Church in Tettenhall.

We were then up bright and early to play for our own regimental carol service in St Mary’s church, Bury St Edmunds on Saturday 10th December.  The event was very well supported by the public, raising money for the regimental benevolent fund.

A small brass ensemble then travelled to the STANTA training area to play for the 3rd Battalion’s candlelight carol service in the historic St Mary’s church, West Tofts.

These pictures show the band in Bury St Edmunds and LCpl Hobson in St Mary’s church, West Tofts. The band will resume training in January to prepare for a busy 2023.
