They have been doing some re-painting and going to add a new interactive display in place of the Northern Ireland riot scene. It is nice to see a bit of improvement and it is making all the difference.

They have also spent a lot of time finding some new videos we hope to get edited of various accounts of Northern Ireland to add to the museum. They are now in the process of applying for a grant to get this professionally edited.

There are also two important anniversaries this year which they have been working on displays for.

It is the 60th anniversary of the end of the Malayan emergency and 50 years since the start of the Royal Anglian Regiment being involved in Northern Ireland. The museum is developing a new temporary anniversaries case to commemorate these events.
