They were joined by Colonel Simon Browne OBE on his last day as a Deputy Colonel of the Regiment at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for Sovereign’s Parade which saw the UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson MP in attendance as The Queen’s representative.

The course at the Academy is 44 weeks long and covers soldering skills and leadership training to prepare the young officers for their first appointments at Regimental level and 2nd Lieutenants.
