The Reservists of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment completed their Annual Training Exercise at Stanford Training Area near Thetford in October.
Around 90 Soldiers deployed to the Norfolk Training Area on Exercise Steelback Warrior.
The first week comprised of field training, and the exercise scenario provided the ideal environment to hone basic Infantry skills and develop an understanding of collective operating skills and tactics. The field exercises culminated at the end of the first week with the Company commanded by Major Rhys Little successfully attacking Eastmere Village.
The second week had a conceptual theme, using tests of endurance and adventure training to highlight the Commanding Officer’s theme of Communications.
