On Sunday 4th August a good turnout of people watched the parade and march past by 58 veterans from the Suffolk and Royal Anglian Regiment.
There was a display of a range of military vehicles including an armoured personnel carrier and Bren Gun carrier used by the Suffolks after D Day. Taking the salute was Brigadier Tony Calder, chairman of the Suffolk Regimental Museum Trustees. The museum is housed in the Gibraltar Barracks and opens every day. Around 320 people visited the museum and a further 150 enjoyed the grounds and music from marching bands. Next years event will be on Sunday 2nd August 2020.
