The Battalion had the honour of hosting TRH The Earl and Countess of Wessex when he visited the Sovereign Base Areas last month. Despite a busy visit for HRH the Countess of Wessex found time to visit Viking families to learn about the experiences of families posted overseas with their spouses.
He visited A (Norfolk) Company who were training on Dhekelia Ranges. After meeting with soldiers HRH was given the opportunity to fire the Glock 17 pistol and it turns out that he is a pretty good shot!
