Closure of the current physical museum - 2 June 2025
The Royal Anglian Regiment Museum in its current location will be closing in June. The museum will be relocating on the Duxford site in the future and will have a temporary space there in the meantime.
The collections and regimental museum presence will still be at Duxford. If any members of the Regiment, past or present, wish to see the museum in its current form this Sunday, 1 June, please email the curator at; royalanglianmuseumcurator@outlook.com for a complimentary ticket by 5pm on Friday.

Our aim is to tell the story of the Regiment and its people.
The Royal Anglian Regiment Museum is located within the Imperial War Museum Duxford. It covers the history of the three East Anglian Regiments from 1958/59/60 and the Royal Anglian Regiment from 1964.
Admission to the Museum is free after paying to enter the IWM Duxford complex. IWM details here.
Organised parties from the Royal Anglian Regiment close relatives of those commemorated on the Royal Anglian Regiment Memorial, will be granted free access to the IWM Duxford complex, except on event days, providing they contact the Curator at least one week in advance by Email.
There is no charge for admission to the IWM Duxford complex on Remembrance Sunday each year for serving members of the Regiment, veterans, and their families.

Our collection includes artefacts and archives from across the timespan covered by the Museum, 1958 to the present, plus a small selection from our forebear regiments demonstrating how their history and their traditions inspire the soldiers of today.
