On Thursday 6^th June the 2^nd Battalion, Royal Anglian Regiment, will exercise their Freedom of the Town of Uppingham in Rutland. The Battalion will march to the Market Place accompanied by vehicles which recently deployed to Poland on Op LINOTYPER where a Drumhead Service will take place to mark the 80^th Anniversary of the start of the D-Day landings. Details of timings will follow, but all veterans and their families are most welcome to attend.
