The CCF parades after school every Thursday during term time, between 15:00 and 16:30 hrs and takes part in other training weekends/evenings as well as attending an annual central camp, usually a few weeks before the summer holidays. We have a close relationship with our affiliation 7 Para RHA
The Academy is offering a contract for 5 days per week during term time (30 hours per week) in order to support the success of the Contingent and for the undertaking of other duties. We anticipate that support for our growing CCF will require 3 days per week. This will be balanced with 2 days per week supporting the school with other duties such as, the coordination and delivery of the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme within the Academy, possible cover for the first aid room, possible support for our practical learning groups and STEM. Depending on the candidate, there may be some requirement for covering in our Behaviour for Learning facility.
Shenfield High School retained its “GOOD” Ofsted rating in November 2018. We are a co-educational 11-18 academy school with a commitment to high standards, a holistic approach, student wellbeing and learning for life. We expect all staff to share this philosophy. Shenfield is conveniently and pleasantly situated close to Shenfield mainline station to London Liverpool Street – and what will be the eastern terminus of Crossrail’s Elizabeth Line – the towns of Brentwood and Billericay and to the Essex countryside.
