6th Battalion

6th Volunteer Battalion, Nuclear Biological Chemical training, Salisbury Plain The 5th (Volunteer) Battalion re-roled as a transport regiment in 1996. The 6th and 7th Volunteer Battalions were merged to form part of the East of England Regiment in 1999.
