County Colonel: Maj W O'Driscoll

Bill enlisted in 1965 as a boy soldier and served with the Lancashire Fusiliers and 3RRF in Hong Kong and Gibraltar. In 1971 he joined the 2nd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment and moved with them to Munster, Germany for 5 years including 3 Northern Ireland tours.

Served at RMAS, Sandhurst for 2 years as an Instructor, and then had the honour of being selected for promotion to WO1 in 1986 serving as Regimental Sergeant Major to the Poachers. Commissioned in 1988, he held the appointments of Coy Ops Offr, MTO, OC HQ Coy, QM (T) & QM.

Following tours to Northern Ireland, Kuwait and Bosnia he joined 7 R ANGLIAN as QM before retiring. 2008-2014 Bill was Area 2 Secretary (The Royal Anglian Regiment) for Lincolnshire, Leicestershire & Northamptonshire. County Colonel for Northamptonshire since 2014.
