County Colonel: Lt Col David Denson TD

Lieutenant Colonel Denson served in the 6th (Volunteer) Battalion of the Royal Anglian Regiment for 20 years. His service included appointments as a Platoon Commander and as the Company Commander of D (Cambridgeshire) Company and of HQ (Suffolk) Company. In 1994 he transferred to Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Force as their Training Major and concluded his service after promotion to Lieutenant Colonel as the Deputy Commandant in 2002. He is an active supporter of the Royal  Anglian Regiment (Cambridgeshire) Association and became the Chairman of the Royal Anglian Regiment’s County Committee for Cambridgeshire in 2012. In 2015 he became the Regiment’s County Colonel for Cambridgeshire.
